  • Técnica Yoruba

A workshop focusing on the movement techniques of Yoruba-based dances

integral to Afro-Cuban traditions.

An Afro-Cuban dance rooted in Yoruba traditions, blending African rhythms with Cuban influences.

Explore its rich history, rhythmic foundations, and energetic flow.

Explore the historical evolution of dance, from Contradanza to Casino (modern-day Salsa), and

understand the roots and origins of the salsa standard position and steps.

A powerful Afro-Cuban dance with deep African roots, it features strong, grounded movements and

rhythmic energy. Traditionally performed in community celebrations, it emphasizes fluid footwork

and expressive body language.

A vibrant Afro-Caribbean dance from the Franco-Haitian tradition, known for its energetic, fluid,

and sensual movements. Traditionally performed during celebrations, it combines rhythmic footwork

with expressive body movements.

  • Güiro (Oya & Changó) (NEW)

A lively and celebratory Afro-Cuban dance that honors the Orishas. This dance blends rhythmic

footwork and dynamic movements with a playful bounce, creating an energetic and joyful performance.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to express the spirit of Oya and Changó.​
